Pharmacy opening times

Some pharmacies in the borough will be open tomorrow and on Monday.

Your pharmacist can offer expert advice on treating common minor health conditions – and could save you a trip to your GP.

Library opening hours 

  • Thursday 2 April - Normal opening hours
  • Good Friday 3 April – Closed
  • Saturday 4 April – Normal opening hours
  • Easter Sunday 5 April - Closed
  • Easter Monday 6 April – Closed 

 

No change to bin collections

We collect household waste and recycling on bank holiday dates (excluding Christmas and New Year).

 

If your bin is due to be collected on Good Friday or Easter Monday, please put it at the kerbside by 7am on the day, as usual. For more information about what can go in each bin, visit our waste webpage

Visit our local parks and nature reserves this Easter


Spring has finally arrived with trees blossoming across the Royal Borough! Why not use this long weekend to enjoy some of our fantastic local nature reserves?



From Sutherland Grange which is teeming with bugs and wildlife this time of year, or Braywick Park which is home to a range of important habitats – take the opportunity to spend some time in some of our amazing green spaces.

Resident Newsletter Changes


We wanted to let you know that we’ll be switching to a new email newsletter provider in mid‑April. Your weekly resident newsletter will continue arriving as usual each Friday, but the design and layout may look a little different once the transition is complete.


You don’t need to take any action. However, if you’d like to unsubscribe or amend your subscription details ahead of the change then please make any changes by Wednesday 15 April 2026. Please do let us know if you have any questions or queries by replying to this email.
