Neighbourhood Plan Referendum


On Thursday 19 March, residents in Maidenhead will have the chance to vote on the town's new neighbourhood plan.


The Maidenhead Neighbourhood Plan sets out local planning guidance from the look and feel of new buildings, to the infrastructure and amenities needed to support a growing town. Find out more about the plan and the upcoming referendum below.

The Royal Borough commended for strong children's care services


Ofsted have commended the Royal Borough for delivering strong, effective and child‑centred support for children and young people in care, following a focused visit in January. 


The recent report highlighted the high quality of care, noting that the support provided promotes their wellbeing, educational progress and long‑term outcomes. The council has continued to invest in housing for children and young people in care, with the recent opening of a new children’s home.

Auction now open to aid Thames Hospice


Residents are invited to join the Mayor in raising funds for charity by joining the online auction. The auction includes a wide range of fantastic prizes including Legoland tickets, a hot-air balloon ride and tickets to the Racehorse!


The auction will close at 9.15pm on Saturday 28 February.

Rogue Opera returns to Windsor Guildhall!


Following a highly-enjoyed show last year, Rogue Opera is returning to Windsor Guildhall!


The talented performers of Rogue Opera will return for a matinee on Sunday 19 April. The event will feature a dynamic cabaret performance, beautifully blending opera classics and hidden gems. This year's programme includes old favourites and a fantastic new selection.


The Guildhall will be open before and after the performance to enable guests to enjoy refreshments and make the most of the historic surroundings. 

Help keep our roads safe


The recent wet and cold weather has seen potholes on the rise all across the UK.


Our teams are busier than ever with more than 700 potholes repaired in January across the Royal Borough. But we need your help to help protect our roads for drivers and cyclists.


Spotted a pothole? Report it online via the RBWM website to help us respond quickly and keep our roads safe.
