Women’s-Only Swimming Sessions Launch at Newlands Leisure Centre

Newlands Leisure Centre is introducing new women’s-only swimming sessions, providing a welcoming, inclusive and affordable space for women and girls aged 13+ to enjoy swimming at their own pace.

Operated by Leisure Focus, the leisure operator for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, the new sessions will take place every Wednesday and will be supported by a female lifeguard on poolside.

The sessions are open to all swimming abilities, with a 23-metre pool set up with slow, medium and fast lanes, allowing swimmers to choose the pace that suits them best. Whether participants are building confidence, swimming for fitness, or training regularly, the sessions are designed to be accessible and supportive.
