Mark your calendars for Green Travel Day!

We're hosting a Green Travel Day event tomorrow, where local transport organisations will be on hand to advise on the options available for travelling more sustainably.

Residents will also be able to find out more information about plans for on-street EV charging infrastructure while learning about climate change, sustainability, active travel, and the Climate Challenge Fund.

The event will be held Saturday 4 October from 11am to 2pm at Braywick Nature Centre and there will be a mix of interactive stands and expert speakers, making it a great opportunity for residents to learn, ask questions, and get involved!

Royal Borough trials cheaper parking to encourage visits in Windsor

Windsor residents and visitors will pay less to park as the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead launches a trial of discounted parking rates at selected car parks across the town.

The trial also aims to support local businesses over quieter winter months by making it more affordable for visitors and shoppers to stay longer in Windsor and Eton.

From 1 October to 30 November 2025, and again from 2 January to 31 March 2026, parking stays between two and five hours will cost up to 25% less at Alexandra Gardens Car Park, King Edward VII Car Park, and Meadow Lane Car Park. Find out more about the trial on our website.
